About this policy

Letter Trails is published under the Framivu name. This policy explains information used by the Android app com.framivu.lettertrails, including its ad-supported and offline editions. Contact us at [email protected] for privacy questions.

Your game stays on your device

Puzzle progress, found words, hints, LT tokens and sound settings are stored in the app’s private device storage. These game records are not sent to a Framivu game server. There is no account, cloud save, Firebase game service, payment integration or purchase history. Android backup is disabled. The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, photos or precise location.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob for banners, occasional full-screen ads between trails and optional rewarded ads.

Google may collect and share IP addresses, approximate location, identifiers, app/ad activity and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads still process data. Google’s processing and retention follow its Privacy Policy and partner-app data policy.

Your choices

The app checks Google’s privacy status before requesting live ads. Because the intended audience includes young teens, the app uses conservative under-age-of-consent handling in Google’s User Messaging Platform rather than asking young teens for adult consent. Settings provides “Ad privacy choices” if Google requires that option. Updating privacy choices does not erase information already processed by Google. Puzzles remain playable offline or when ads are unavailable. A separate offline edition has no advertising SDK or internet permission.

Audience

Letter Trails is designed for teens and adults aged 13 and over. It is not designed for children under 13. This version does not ask for an age group or date of birth, and does not verify age or read a Google Account birthday. A saved age-group choice from an earlier version may remain in private device storage and is used only to retain stronger ad protections. The offline edition has no advertising SDK. If you believe someone under 13 has provided personal information through support, contact [email protected] so we can address it.

Support and privacy requests

If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as device details or a description of a problem. We use this to respond and resolve your request; our email provider processes messages to deliver that service. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal information. Contact support to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify it.

Deleting data

Resetting progress in Settings removes game progress, LT tokens and game settings. It does not reset an age-group choice retained from an earlier version or Google’s privacy choices. Clearing Android app data or uninstalling deletes the app’s locally stored information. There is no Framivu account to delete. For information processed by Google, use the relevant Google privacy controls or contact Google; we cannot directly delete records held solely by Google.

Website and changes

This policy covers the app. Visiting framivu.com also sends normal connection information to the website host, such as IP address and browser request details. These app pages contain no additional analytics scripts or contact forms. Hosting services and any site-wide features may have their own processing. We may update this policy when the app or its services change; the updated date will appear here.
